Black Velvet along with her son Ryder, joined us in June 2016. She might be small but she certainly is mighty as she ensures that none of the other horses in the pony field pick on her or her son! This stunning mare walks into classes with her head held high ignoring the calls from Ryder in the field knowing she has a job to do. If you get a chance to see her in the colder months, you will see that she truly looks like velvet with her thick winter coat!
